The Intergovernmental Working Group on the Right to Development will hold its 24th session from 15 – 19 May 2023, 11:00-13:00 and 15:00-17:00, in Room XX/ Hybrid with RSI-platform Zoom, Palais des Nations, Geneva.
At this session, the Working Group will continue to review progress in the implementation of the right to development and hold an interactive dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on the right to development and with the Chair of the Expert Mechanism on the Right to Development.
The Working Group will also consider and conduct intergovernmental negotiations of the second revised text of the draft convention on the right to development. Following this process, the Chair-Rapporteur will submit the final text of the draft convention to the Human Rights Council, as mandated by the Council.
